I love how casually the front wheel picks up off the ground. like nbd, just on the rear at 100mph down city streets.

God I need this bike. someone give me 90K

I know a guy from Ohio who is one of the few US riders to do the TT and I think he is over 60 now. He went a few years ago, I’d guess as a bucket list thing.

How many died on the TT this year, three? With all the emphasis on safety in Europe I’m surprised this race, and all the road racing, is allowed to continue. It’s hella fun to watch, and I know the guys do it with a full understanding of the risks. But it’s still nutso.

The rider I know is Walter Schleper from Stow Ohio. He also cycles and does centuries. In great shape for his age. He said after his run the UK guys were congratulating him and were shocked to see his gray hair when he removed the helmet.

I would think that racing the TT would give you gray hair.
